Hey there—I'm Riley Hart. I'm a HVAC tech, small business owner, and someone who genuinely hearts this trade (yep, the pun is intentional).
I started I Hart HVAC not because I have a love for writing (spoiler: I’m better with a multimeter), but because I think the stories and skills we build in the trades deserve a place online. This blog is my digital crawlspace—a spot to vent, reflect, and maybe shed some light on what it’s really like working in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

- I’ve been in HVAC for 12+ years, from attic installs to rooftop repairs and everything in between.
- I run my own shop based in Fort Collins, Colorado.
- I fix old systems, geek out over airflow design, and occasionally argue with thermostats.
- I’m a woman in a trade that still doesn’t expect to see us—and I’m here anyway.
